Short-Term Running Goals:

Keep on running, enjoy it for the sake of running, relax and enjoy life...de-stress.  Stay fit as I enter retirement in < 4years.

No racing, retired.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running until this old body says no, running for fun.

Personal:

 I started running competitively in 2005 and ran my first marathon in 2005. Now retired from competitive racing.

Bend down, O Lord, and hear my prayer;

answer me, for I need your help.
Protect me, for I am devoted to you.
Save me, for I serve you and trust you.
You are my God.
Be merciful to me, O Lord,
for I am calling on you constantly.
Give me happiness, O Lord,
for I give myself to you.
O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive,
so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.
Listen closely to my prayer, O Lord;
hear my urgent cry.
I will call to you whenever I’m in trouble,
and you will answer me.  - Psalm 86:1-7

The more uncertainty we have with school, and the closer it gets, the more anxiety we are seeing in my family.

See my most recent comment Jon. I saw Greenville County is trying to force parents to commit to a particular option for the entire school year! Interesting, to say the least.

From Jon on Tue, Aug 04, 2020 at 16:46:57 from 96.33.80.155

Yeah, we had to commit to a full semester for now. What I wish was that the all in-person was actually that- 5 days a week at school, no matter what. Sign waivers, whatever. But let parents choose to send them, regardless of case count.

Move to Sandy, Utah and you'll have your wish. Also, no waiver required.

I wish I could. It would be nice if each community/school could choose whatever they want (all online, all in-person, hybrid, etc) and the students were free to move to whichever school they wanted, with the funding following the students.
