Short-Term Running Goals:

Keep on running, enjoy it for the sake of running, relax and enjoy stress.

No racing, retired.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running until this old body says no, running for fun.

Support my wife's endeavor to do long distance road biking and her renewed interest in running! Keep biking more with her as cross training maybe do a Century ride.

Bend down, O Lord, and hear my prayer;
answer me, for I need your help.
Protect me, for I am devoted to you.
Save me, for I serve you and trust you.
You are my God.
Be merciful to me, O Lord,
for I am calling on you constantly.
Give me happiness, O Lord,
for I give myself to you.
O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive,
so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.
Listen closely to my prayer, O Lord;
hear my urgent cry.
I will call to you whenever I’m in trouble,
and you will answer me.  - Psalm 86:1-7

Happy 25th Anniversary to my wonderful wife, Kami!  Thanks for the great adventure so far, looking forward to a lot more with you!

7:45am...8 miles from the condo on the Santa Clara/Virgin River Trails.  Then back out for a bike ride to Sun River and on the Mayor's loop from Cottonwood Cove park. (Supernova)

Pool time in the warm sun and a nice dinner tonight before heading home tomorrow.  I could get used to this "retired" lifestyle...sooner than later.

7am..6 miles from the condo in just over 7:00 AP.  Good run after on tired legs from yesterday's exercise.  Now watching the Boston Marathon before a bike ride later. (Supernova)

Wow, congrats Desi and the American women!  Amazing day for American women and men with many top finishers.  They (and all the finishers) show lots of mental and physical toughness and proved that racing is from the heart as much as from the mind.  Lots of DNFs in the top ranks when it became clear they could not "win"...conflicted with about a DNF when it is for anything but injury.

23 mile bike ride with Kami to Sun River (looked at model homes, come to find out I am old enough in a few months to buy a house in a retirement community...hmmm.)  Warm and it got windy on our way back.  Great ride!

Wide awake early.  Made coffee and read "The Righteous Mind" for about and hour then went out for a run at 5:45.  12 miles on the Santa Clara River Trail to the Virgin River Trail and back.  Nice morning for a run.  (Ride Orange)

Church, bike ride, pool time and sun/warmth on the agenda for today.

Kami and I rode 20 miles on the trails in St. George and Bloomington Hills today, really fun time!
