Short-Term Running Goals:

Keep on running, enjoy it for the sake of running, relax and enjoy life...de-stress.  Stay fit as I enter retirement in < 4years.

No racing, retired.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running until this old body says no, running for fun.

Personal:

 I started running competitively in 2005 and ran my first marathon in 2005. Now retired from competitive racing.

Bend down, O Lord, and hear my prayer;

answer me, for I need your help.
Protect me, for I am devoted to you.
Save me, for I serve you and trust you.
You are my God.
Be merciful to me, O Lord,
for I am calling on you constantly.
Give me happiness, O Lord,
for I give myself to you.
O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive,
so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.
Listen closely to my prayer, O Lord;
hear my urgent cry.
I will call to you whenever I’m in trouble,
and you will answer me.  - Psalm 86:1-7

4:30am...it was already 75 degrees out when I left for my run!  8 easy miles with Moxie.  No pain issues finally and I didn't feel tired, just no energy and my legs were heavy.  Need the vacation time coming up!  (Ride)

6 miles at lunch untimed on a cooler but humid day.  Nice to get out, though still not feeling like running hard.  (Cortana)

Ok, maybe it is time to start giving my wife a hard time as she is not alone in her deficiency in bike maintenance...she and 4 other talented women went out for a long ride this morning.  On the way home one of them got a flat tire...and NONE of them knew how to change it!  I keep telling her she needs to learn (I offered to teach her) but she won't do it...maybe now she will actually pay attention!

Glad you felt good Jeff, nice run on a warm morning as I didn't get out until a little later and had the wind also. Vacation will be here soon

Sounds like vacation time is going to be fantastic. Is anyone from the great state of Idaho running the Fit 4 Life half Saturday? I will be there.

I don't know of anyone from over on the east side of the state myself. Good luck on the Boise Greenbelt!

That's funny she's never had a flat before that she had to fix.
