Keep on running, enjoy it for the sake of running, relax and enjoy life...de-stress.  Stay fit as I enter retirement in < 4years.

Keep running until this old body says no, running for fun.

 I started running competitively in 2005 and ran my first marathon in 2005. Now retired from competitive racing.

6.5M early this morning in the cooler weather and a light rain.  Almost went to the gym, but it was actually not bad out during the run.  Left hammy was a bit twingy so I rolled it after the run and it feels a bit better.  Still noticable at work though.  Now that I am at work, it is raining/snowing much worse so a lunch run is in question (I didn't bring winter gear!).  (Stratos 3)

4M easy at lunch in decent weather, a little cool but no wind or rain.  Hammy a little better but I did not push it (no time either), just nice and easy.  (T2)

You guys are getting one last blast of winter. Or, *hopefully* the last. Steak for dinner, tons of H2O and early bed is Dr. Sno's recommendation for a quick healing of the "hammy." :D

Thanks for the suggestions/warnings about my hammy twing. Sno, sounds like a good idea (even if it doesn't heal it, I like the suggestions!).

I second Dr. Sno recommendation. Bump up the protein for hammy and calf barking. Dumb former weight lifting types like me know all about that.

yep 3rd Dr Sno recommendation, eat good protein, and try to rest a little, I am sure you did a race recently?? (kiddin bout race), anyway I was the runner geek this morning, did an easy 3 miler, oooh not liking running in the morning, didnt have any caffeine inside me and I felt like I was still asleep even when I finished, LOL.
