Short-Term Running Goals:

Keep on running, enjoy it for the sake of running, relax and enjoy life...de-stress.  Stay fit as I enter retirement in < 4years.

No racing, retired.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running until this old body says no, running for fun.

Personal:

 I started running competitively in 2005 and ran my first marathon in 2005. Now retired from competitive racing.

Bend down, O Lord, and hear my prayer;

answer me, for I need your help.
Protect me, for I am devoted to you.
Save me, for I serve you and trust you.
You are my God.
Be merciful to me, O Lord,
for I am calling on you constantly.
Give me happiness, O Lord,
for I give myself to you.
O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive,
so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.
Listen closely to my prayer, O Lord;
hear my urgent cry.
I will call to you whenever I’m in trouble,
and you will answer me.  - Psalm 86:1-7

6M on my TM at home early as I had to be at work early to head to the site.  Not too motivated this morning and my legs felt heavy.  TM at home is ok, but not too exciting, plus the darned fused tripped about 1M into the run and I had to wait a couple of minutes for it to reset and get going again.  Will wait and see what the weather is like at lunch for a run as it is still pretty cold.

total time: 38:40  (Trigon - 207 miles)

3.25M at lunch outside in -3 degrees.  Bundled up well and felt great in the nice sunny weather...nose and earlobes got a little cold but not bad.  Would not want to be out any longer, though.

Total time:  22:49  (Saucony T3 - 418 miles)

You've been the Tread-Master this week.

What kind of TM do you have at home?

Have you seen our temps the last couple of days? :-)

I have a Proform 735 (I think) that is about 8 years old. It has been a good machine as I have geared up to my current levels and is still good for shorter easy MP or slower runs.

Here I am running barefoot in the afternoons and you are hoping to get to the zero degree mark - I am SO sorry!

Yes, I live in an artic tundra right now. I am excited that it is supposed to warm up to the 20's tomorrow, how sad is that?!
