Bend down, O Lord, and hear my prayer;
answer me, for I need your help.
Protect me, for I am devoted to you.
Save me, for I serve you and trust you.
You are my God.
Be merciful to me, O Lord,
for I am calling on you constantly.
Give me happiness, O Lord,
for I give myself to you.
O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive,
so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.
Listen closely to my prayer, O Lord;
hear my urgent cry.
I will call to you whenever I’m in trouble,
and you will answer me.  - Psalm 86:1-7

7.7M early and easy this morning down Sunnyside to Snake River parkway and back with a loop through the neighborhood.  Back stiff again, too much mileage?  (Trigon)

4M at slow MP at lunch time on a warmer and sunny day in the desert.  Just some easy miles with the back feeling better.  My back is stiff in the morning, good during the day, and then starts hurting again in the early evening...(Ride)

1 hour of tennis for the first time in a LONG time.  Timing way off (especially on the serve and forehand).  Backhand was about the only thing working!  Fun to get back on the courts!

I was going to say something rude about old age, but decided not to... ;)

I would cut the mileage down and heal to be fresh. I've always found when you try to work through the pain you really can't get what you want out of the training. I know because I'm an idiot who does it a lot and should practice what I preach.

If you want 2009 Indianapolis Marathon to be your prime event than I would do what I can to heal.

Jon, just gotta dig, don't ya?

Kory, thanks for the feedback. Where and when are you thinking of camping this weekend, we are looking at going out as well but have made no plans (kinda winging it)? Call me to discuss.

Hey, I chose not to make the comment! I just alluded to it, which is much less rude... right?

From Kory on Wed, Aug 19, 2009 at 16:12:09 from

We were thinking about Massacre Rocks, but I'm game for anything. Did you have an idea because we are winging it too.
