Short-Term Running Goals:

Keep on running, enjoy it for the sake of running, relax and enjoy life...de-stress.  Stay fit as I enter retirement in < 4years.

No racing, retired.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running until this old body says no, running for fun.

Personal:

 I started running competitively in 2005 and ran my first marathon in 2005. Now retired from competitive racing.

Bend down, O Lord, and hear my prayer;

answer me, for I need your help.
Protect me, for I am devoted to you.
Save me, for I serve you and trust you.
You are my God.
Be merciful to me, O Lord,
for I am calling on you constantly.
Give me happiness, O Lord,
for I give myself to you.
O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive,
so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.
Listen closely to my prayer, O Lord;
hear my urgent cry.
I will call to you whenever I’m in trouble,
and you will answer me.  - Psalm 86:1-7

I slept in a bit since it is my day off and got out the door at 5:30.  Beautiful morning for a run...10M in 1:17:45 through Snake River Landing and around the greenbelt.  Ran on the southern extension off Pancheri to get to 10M.  Nice and easy pace to save the legs for tomorrow's Kelly Canyon Half Marathon.

Kami asked me to go run with her, so I went back out for another easy 3M down Sunnyside.  Made it back to the house just in time to meet the guy to hook up our wireless internet...we finally joined the modern age!

What wireless service did you go through. If you need any advice on multiple computer setup let me know. Getting a router would be a good idea.

Banging out a great week of running! Best of luck in the half coming up. Stay relaxed and just ride the horse.

Looking forward to the race report. I love the theme of sleeping in this week to 4:30 earlier and 5:30 today... I hope all that "extra rest" paid off...

Kory, we went with Micorserv (our current provider) and they include a router/firewall as part of the monthly fee.
