Keep on running, enjoy it for the sake of running, relax and enjoy life...de stress.
No racing, retired.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running until this old body says no, running for fun.
Support my wife's endeavor to do long distance road biking and her renewed interest in running! Keep biking more with her as cross training maybe do a Century ride.

Bend down, O Lord, and hear my prayer;
answer me, for I need your help. Protect me, for I am devoted to you.
Save me, for I serve you and trust you.
You are my God. Be merciful to me, O Lord,
for I am calling on you constantly. Give me happiness, O Lord,
for I give myself to you. O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive,
so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help. Listen closely to my prayer, O Lord;
hear my urgent cry. I will call to you whenever I’m in trouble,
and you will answer me. - Psalm 86:1-7
Too cold outside (13 degrees) and I was sore (back, hammy, shoulder). Did some stretching and PT this morning, including adding "nordic drops" to my rountine to help with the HHT.
6 miles at lunch on a cold day. (Supernova Green)

Just googled nordic drops so I learned something today.

A runner friend said that these helped her and her husband with the same issue I have. Worth a try to get rid of my pain in the butt.

Those look pretty intense. Have you sought out PT for the issue? I know you've been dealing with it for some time. PTs can really do amazing things. About 6-7 sessions and I had my hip issue of 4+ years sorted. I've since retightened it but it's much stronger and if I do my routine it opens up that area.

I have been to PT, got me to where I am now! Same issue that made Ryan Hall retire from competitive racing. Doc even suggested PRP, but not sure that the results are conclusive enough on this issue for the cost and time commitment. I can still run, just not quite like I used to. Doc reminded me I am getting older.
