Keep on running, enjoy it for the sake of running, relax and enjoy life...de-stress.  Stay fit as I enter retirement in < 4years.

No racing, retired.

Keep running until this old body says no, running for fun.

 I started running competitively in 2005 and ran my first marathon in 2005. Now retired from competitive racing.

7M easy early this morning in cool but calm conditions. Recovery run from yesterday and shorter since my wife had to leave for work by 5:30am. Also had to quick for nature call. Overall a nice easy run (no time, no GPS or watch). (T3)

Will try to get a run in at lunch...sunshine right now but extremely windy!

Got out at lunch after meetings. Sunshine, 40 degrees and the wind had totally stop! Nice 5M with no watch but ran by moderate effort at first then increased to what felt like easy MP. Overall a good run, had planne on 4M, but with the weather I stretched it out. (T2)

You are still going strong! You ought to do so well in Boston. I'm just hoping my body cooporates for a few more weeks. I feel like I am falling apart all of the sudden.

Michelle, hang in there! Making it through training is one of the hardest parts about marathons. You have done the hard work, now is the time to listen to your body and if you have to do a 3 week taper to get fully healthy, do it. Do your cross training and make any runs count (recovery, speed, etc). 2.5 weeks!

Jon, it is not going to last, I can see the storm coming in! Now our forecast for the next several days in looking crappy (including Sat) making me that much more torn about running Strider's. Argh, just make a #$%@ decision!
