Short-Term Running Goals:

Keep on running, enjoy it for the sake of running, relax and enjoy life...de stress.

No racing, retired.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running until this old body says no, running for fun.

Support my wife's endeavor to do long distance road biking and her renewed interest in running! Keep biking more with her as cross training maybe do a Century ride.

Personal:

Born in 1968.  I live in Idaho Falls, ID.  I started running competitively in 2005 and ran my first marathon in 2005. Now retired.

Married for 24 years with two children (18 and 15).

Bend down, O Lord, and hear my prayer;
answer me, for I need your help.
Protect me, for I am devoted to you.
Save me, for I serve you and trust you.
You are my God.
Be merciful to me, O Lord,
for I am calling on you constantly.
Give me happiness, O Lord,
for I give myself to you.
O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive,
so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.
Listen closely to my prayer, O Lord;
hear my urgent cry.
I will call to you whenever I’m in trouble,
and you will answer me.  - Psalm 86:1-7

Fighting off a cold or sinus infection (so is Justin) and crappy weather when I could run, day off to rest.

Woke up with a stuffy head and crappy weather outside so no run.  Took a cold pill and went to work and felt better and weather improved so a slow and unmotivated 5 miles at lunch.  Think the Guide 8's are done...my achilles were hurting today. (Guide 8)

4:45am...almost skipped this morning due to weather forecast and conditions last night (cold, icy).  Got up a bit late and it was the best weather all week (38 degrees, light wind).  Went a bit longer with Moxie for 7 miles due to predicted snow storm later today. (Ride Orange)

Blizzard at lunch, did not feel like going out in it.

3 miles after work with Katelyn on slushy roads in the neighborhood. (Guide 8)

Got up early, it was really snowing.  Did taxes instead. After the snow slowed, shoveled the driveway (and next door neighbors).  Breakfast then a run with Justin through SRL to Broadway and back.  Good conversation again, best time to connect with him.  He is done with 2nd trimester and is now done with only senior project defense and two AP tests for rest of high school amongst three "real" classes through June. 10 miles total today. (Guide 8)
