Short-Term Running Goals:

Keep on running, enjoy it for the sake of running, relax and enjoy life...de stress.

No racing, retired.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running until this old body says no, running for fun.

Support my wife's endeavor to do long distance road biking and her renewed interest in running! Keep biking more with her as cross training maybe do a Century ride.

Personal:

Born in 1968.  I live in Idaho Falls, ID.  I started running competitively in 2005 and ran my first marathon in 2005. Now retired.

Married for 24 years with two children (18 and 15).

Bend down, O Lord, and hear my prayer;
answer me, for I need your help.
Protect me, for I am devoted to you.
Save me, for I serve you and trust you.
You are my God.
Be merciful to me, O Lord,
for I am calling on you constantly.
Give me happiness, O Lord,
for I give myself to you.
O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive,
so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.
Listen closely to my prayer, O Lord;
hear my urgent cry.
I will call to you whenever I’m in trouble,
and you will answer me.  - Psalm 86:1-7

4am...5 miles with Moxie before my early flight to DC. (Mirage)

Easy day traveling to DC.  Got to hotel and went for an 8 mile run to the waterfront and along the trail and back.  (Supernova)  Went to dinner at Virtue Feed and Grain on the waterfront on King St.  Great food.  Nice walk to the restaraunt but hit a huge rain and lightning storm on the way back.  Rode the trolley but still got sopping wet getting to the hotel. Supposed to be rainy all week.

4:15am...5 miles in old town Alexandria before my meetings today. (Supernova)

A good but long day of meetings, work back home did not stop though and had to deal with a few things.  After work hydrate with a beer and fuel then went out for 5 miles before the rain started.  A good work day but miss my family. Realized that I still have much to learn about this aspect of my job (newer assignment) but will be hard still holding my old job at the same time. (Supernova)

Slept in this morning to catch up and due to rain.  Busy day of meetings in DC.  6 miles in Alexandria down to the waterfront trail and back to hotel in a light rain, actually overdressed (hot!) in a cap and light rain jacket.  Mind full with work stuff, need a beer. (Supernova)

3 miles after dinner, rain had stopped so it was very pleasant. (Supernova)

5:30am...7 miles from the hotel to the Mt. Vernon trail and back on a misty morning.  Lots of rain all day today so good to beat the heavy stuff.  One more day in DC then home tomorrow. (Supernova)

Stressful at home due to impending graduation planning and coordination of all the repairs and processes with bank and insurance company.

Another day of meetings and networking. Tired but the rain let up so I went for a run before dinner at Theismann's (Joe's place).  5 miles, but the last mile the rain started and got a bit wet.  (Supernova)
