Short-Term Running Goals:

Keep on running, enjoy it for the sake of running, relax and enjoy life...de-stress.  Stay fit as I enter retirement in < 4years.

No racing, retired.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running until this old body says no, running for fun.

Personal:

 I started running competitively in 2005 and ran my first marathon in 2005. Now retired from competitive racing.

Bend down, O Lord, and hear my prayer;

answer me, for I need your help.
Protect me, for I am devoted to you.
Save me, for I serve you and trust you.
You are my God.
Be merciful to me, O Lord,
for I am calling on you constantly.
Give me happiness, O Lord,
for I give myself to you.
O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive,
so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.
Listen closely to my prayer, O Lord;
hear my urgent cry.
I will call to you whenever I’m in trouble,
and you will answer me.  - Psalm 86:1-7

4:30am...so very tired and sore this morning, nearly did not get out of bed then had a hard time getting out the door.  When I did I nearly turned around before leaving the neighborhood.  Some how managed 4.25 miles, very slow.  (Ride)

No lunch run today as I was busy at work.  Plus, it was a windy bugger out at the site today!

I just could not get up this morning...tired and legs were sore.  So, I slept in rather than pushing for a worthless run and will try to go out at lunch today.

No lunch run, busy with meetings.  No evening run as we were hosting the Murphy's on their travel through IF.

5am...7 easy miles with Rob Murphy through SRL on a nice morning for a run.  Great company and conversation.  It was fun haning out with the Murphy clan for the evening...safe travels to you!  (Mirage)

6.5 miles at lunch in 42:30 (6:32 avg.) on the greenbelt.  Warm and windy day, ran to Bill's Bike Shop to say hi to Kami who was there having her bike checked out and a tire replaced before the Spinderella Century ride in Pocatello on Saturday.  Good day when I get to run and see my wife at lunch!  (Cortana)

I was SAG support for my wife during her Spinderella Century ride in Pocatello today.  Got up early and got her down to the ride with her friends.

I ran the whole run on various portions of Marsh Valley Road in between meeting Kami at the stops to grab gear and ensure she was doing good.  End up running in 3 sections:  2 miles, 7 miles, 7 miles.  The total time of the run was 1:45 for a 6:33 average. A couple of slower miles then most at decent MP.    Even raced a few ladies up a hill on the course...and won!  Kami and her friends did great...she is now asleep on the couch!  (Cortana)

3 miles after dinner with Justin and Moxie and Katelyn riding her bike.  Just nice and easy through the neighborhood with the kids on a nice evening.  (Vibram)
