Short-Term Running Goals:

Keep on running, enjoy it for the sake of running, relax and enjoy life...de-stress.  Stay fit as I enter retirement in < 4years.

No racing, retired.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running until this old body says no, running for fun.

Personal:

 I started running competitively in 2005 and ran my first marathon in 2005. Now retired from competitive racing.

Bend down, O Lord, and hear my prayer;

answer me, for I need your help.
Protect me, for I am devoted to you.
Save me, for I serve you and trust you.
You are my God.
Be merciful to me, O Lord,
for I am calling on you constantly.
Give me happiness, O Lord,
for I give myself to you.
O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive,
so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.
Listen closely to my prayer, O Lord;
hear my urgent cry.
I will call to you whenever I’m in trouble,
and you will answer me.  - Psalm 86:1-7

No morning run, woke up to pouring rain outside.

8 miles after all day meetings and getting to the hotel.  1 hour of running in hot humid weather and air so thick it felt like I had to chew it first...miserable run but got it done so I could have some beers with my coworkers. A really good day overall.  Heading home tomorrow! (Mirage Gray)

Slept in and had a relaxing start to the day.  7.25 miles with Moxie through SRL and back then out for a 15 mile bike ride with Kami from home to Freeman Park and back.  Really windy out today with a tough head wind from the north.  (Ride 5)

3 miles in the afternoon around the neighborhood.  (Boost)

5:15m...took Moxie and we met Andrea for a run. I paced her through a couple 1 mile intervals then turned around to drop Moxie off at home and meet Craig for a run.  We ran to SRL and back catching up since it had been a while.  6 more miles to finish off 13 miles early.  (Altra Impulse)

6.5 miles with the kids at Freeman Park running the Tiger Grizz course a couple of times.  I am tired. (Mirage)
