Short-Term Running Goals:

Keep on running, enjoy it for the sake of running, relax and enjoy life...de-stress.  Stay fit as I enter retirement in < 4years.

No racing, retired.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running until this old body says no, running for fun.

Personal:

 I started running competitively in 2005 and ran my first marathon in 2005. Now retired from competitive racing.

Bend down, O Lord, and hear my prayer;

answer me, for I need your help.
Protect me, for I am devoted to you.
Save me, for I serve you and trust you.
You are my God.
Be merciful to me, O Lord,
for I am calling on you constantly.
Give me happiness, O Lord,
for I give myself to you.
O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive,
so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.
Listen closely to my prayer, O Lord;
hear my urgent cry.
I will call to you whenever I’m in trouble,
and you will answer me.  - Psalm 86:1-7

Early morning 7M easy run with no pain or soreness left after SGM.  Feeling good.

Afternoon 7M run at a decent pace (6:40ish).  Getting in extra mileage due to this weeks's work schedule.

Easy early morning run.  Very tired as I couldn't fall asleep last night, about 4 hours of sleep.  Work this week sucks...12 hour days all this week and most of next week, so light running week is expected.  Man, do I hate auditing!

Approximately 4M (GPS died) in the wind and rain this morning. Short due to having to be at work early to get to the site. Audit going ok, but another 12 hour day expected.

Good early morning 6M run at an avg 6:45 pace. Felt really good in the cold and wind.

Work load is going good this week (despite 13 hour day yesterday). Still, no lunch time run possible today.

5M run on the TM at home...too wet, windy and cold to want to run outside this morning plus have to get to work early again. Good run at a 6:25 avg pace (last 0.75M at 6:00 pace and 3.5% incline).

Good fast 4.1M run at lunch (6:18 - 5:51 pace).
